Cerddwr – A living celt

High among the mists of the ancient mountains of Cymru, where the wind sings in forgotten tongues and rivers still whisper to the stones, Cerddwr was born. My name means wanderer in the old tongue, and true to that name, my life began in the wild embrace of Cymru’s rugged heart. From my earliest days, I walked the deer paths and shepherd’s trails, gathering the lore of plants and the stories of the land, guided by the same moon and stars that watched over our Celtic forebears.

I carry the memory of a people whose bond with nature was more than survival—it was kinship. The Celts spoke to the earth as to a friend, and the earth answered. That ancient dialogue still flows in me, each leaf and root a verse in a living song. My hands know the feel of wild thyme warmed by the sun, the silver sheen of sage in the morning dew, the bitter perfume of yarrow when the wind turns cold.

In a world where concrete often drowns the voice of the land, I walk a different path—one of preservation and sharing. I have gathered my craft into an online herbal shop and Herbal Practice, a first step in bringing the old ways into the modern age. Every blend, balm, and bundle is prepared with the care of a storyteller weaving magic into words, and with respect for the plant spirits who give their gifts.

But this is only the beginning. In time, the shop will take root as a physical place—a hearth of herbal wisdom where the mountain air mingles with the scent of chamomile and oak moss, where the kettle is always warm, and the stories never end.
